1. How to reach Jaisalmer?

By Air:     The nearest airport to Jaisalmer is Jodhpur about 275 kms away.
               Jet Airways and Indian Airlines operate flights from Mumbai and Delhi everyday.
               You can also board a flight from Jaipur and reach Jaisalmer in 40 minutes.

By Train:  Well connected to all major cities by both broad and metro gauge.
               Daily trains operate from New Delhi and Jodhpur.
               A seven day trip on "Palace of Wheels" is also a good option if you have enough time to                spare. The most convenient way  
               to tour around Rajasthan.
By Road: Many buses ply daily from nearby places like Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bikaner, Barmer, Mount Abu,                 Ahemdabad etc,
You can opt between Rajasthan Roadways and many private companies. You can drive very comfortably from most of Gujarat cities to Jaisalmer in hours. The driving time from Delhi to Jaisalmer is about 10 hours; from Bikaner about 4 hours and from Jodhpur about 3.30 hours.
